Last day of the Adivasi Seminar

 The three day National seminar in the dept.came to an end on 21st February, 2015. Met many students and got to know them a little better in the  informal meeting  over dinner.Interacted with other scholars working on the issue. The highlight was interacting with the descendants of Gond Rajas, Raja Birsa and Raja Laxman Rao of Chandrapur who are working and fifgting for the rights of the Gond adivasis.

National seminar on Adivasi autonomy

 The three day National seminar on Adivasi autonomy was held in the Department of History from 19th to 21st February, 2015.

5th Annual Uttrakhand History and cultural Assocation

 On 12th February, 2015, met  all the scholars working on Uttrakhand at the 5th Annual Uttrakhand History and cultural Assocation at Haldwani.Nice to meet Prof Sekhar Pathak.PROF.Girija Pandey, Prof Bahuguna, Prof Vasudha Pande, Prof Sahu and many others.It was a wonderful visit for I could also meet my mother who stays in Haldwani.
