Delivered the key note address at the International Conference at Berhampur University. While I looked at reconstructed of Indian history in the pre modern period with a gender lens,Geraldine Forbes in her special address did it for the modern period and hence there was a beautiful connectivity. It was a pleasure to listen to her.Congratulations to Sankarsan Malik and Sadananda Nayak for Organising this Conference so well and efficiently and bringing in participants from all over India and Nepal. A great effort and I can understand all the hard work that went in behind this. It was a pleasure to interact with many participants and learn so much about different facets of regional history.
