The celebration of the International Women's month was ushered in 0n 6th March, 2019, by the Centre for Women's Studies in University of Hyderabad, with a series of activities related to women. Professor Rakesh Chandra gave a seminar on Feminist Philosophy. Prof. Chandra from the University of Lucknow, is a well known scholar of philosophy and women's studies who bridges the gap between theory and practice. He discussed various issues like Empowerment, violence, gender questions, multiculturalism. A very interested and engaging talk.
