On 29th September, 2016, I used this opportunity of visiting Assam to give a lecture and interact with the history students in the University of Guwahati. Was very happy to note that the Department of history here was established 1948.They have a wonderful Dept. with more women faculty than males.
On 29th September, 2016, conducted a Ph.D viva voce exam at IIT Guwahati and interacted with their students.The IIT campus is beautiful and green and has seven lakes surrounding it and is on the banks of the Brahmaputra river.
On 10th September, 2016, celebrated Navami in Ahmedabad. Happy Navami greetings to every one from Gujarat.
