On the evening of 12th May, 2017, attended a Mizo wedding of a cousin of my student Azuali Sdl Chhakchhuak. I was amazed at the simplicity of the wedding. It started around 3.00 and all the guests were seated by this time. The priest read from the Bible in Mizo and by 3.45 the ceremony was over. After this there were rounds and rounds of photographs of groups with the newly Wed and dinner started by 4.00 and every one left the venue around 5.00. All the women looked very pretty in the traditional attire. Great and interesting day filled with varied kind of experiences.
