The Centre for Women's Studies at St. Ann's College had a Board meeting today online and I participated as a Board member. Very happy to meet old friends V Rukmini Rao, Shahida Murtaza, Smita Asthana. Popy Nath, a young scholar is doing good work and now they plan to introduce two certificate courses on Gender studies. St. Ann's has a hugue human resource in terms of their students and they can really do good work and come up as a Centre with a lot of impact in India. This College has a lot of potential. I really liked the online release of the newsletter of last year. It was a beautiful slide with a ribbon and sccisors that came online and released the newsletter. Indeed Popy very innovative and congratulations for all the good work. I see these online meetings as the future now at least till we get back to normal and discover s vacinstion. Thank God at least work in educational institutes like this College is being carried on in spite of many restraints.
