Women's World Congress six years back

The women's World Congress was made possible due to large number of students who worked day and night to make it a success. All the delegates were very impressed with our student volunteers and praised them a lot. Right from making the kits, managing the sessions, seeing that the tea and lunch was served in time, the students played a major role. There was so much work that was carried out behind the main stage and here is a glimpse of that. Thanks to all the students of History, Women's Studies, Management and other departments from the University many of whose names I do not remember now that we, both Sita Vanka and myself were able to sail through this very smoothly and we could have this Congress for five days from 19 th to 23rd August and also have a Feminist Film festival as part of this.
