Kasi Viswa Nath Mandir

Any visit to Varanasi will be incomplete with out a darshan at Kasi Viswa Nath Mandir. This is one of the oldest temple in India, one of the Jyotirlingas and as is the history of many temples in India  was destroyed and rebuilt, destroyed and rebuilt in the past many times. Visited the temple today morning at six when it was relatively peaceful. People singing Shiv stuti near the Siva linga was very soothing. Had a good darshan and then went to see the Rajendra Ghat where the aarti is conducted at night. The pleasant surprise was meeting Dora Reddy Malladi Sir near Viswa Nath temple and he is also currently visiting Varanasi with his wife and had come near the temple.
