The six day, short term, Gender Sensitisation program of the Centre of Women's Studies at the University of Hyderabad, came to a conclusion with a validectory on 1st September, 2018. Shravya Reddy who is the founder of the NGO, We for She came and delivered the Validectory address and highlighted how gender sensitivity is essential in today's world. Though very young she left her Corporate job, toured rural Andhra and Telengana and now works for women who have had a disfunctional family life and have had broken marriage either through death, abandonment or divorce. Through this program we have formed a good bond with these forty participants coming from different parts of the country and from different Colleges and Universities. It is our strong belief that through these teachers who will again be dealing with hundreds of students in their life time an awareness will be created and finally a change will come with a change in the mindset and we will be able have a Gender just society.
