Bye, Bye to Araku.

As I say Bye, Bye to Araku on 3rd November, 2018, some thoughts come to my mind. Araku is so beautiful but the city is so dirty with a littre of plastics and garbage strewn around. One can find chips packets, lays packets, all frooty packets and a lot of Liquor bottles strewn around. One has to travel a little in the outskirts to enjoy the beauties of Araku. Why do we as Indians not learn to  own a place and keep it clean. I wish now all tourism and heritage courses should have a section on keeping the tourists spots clean and we teach this from school onwards. No course on tourism  should be passed in future unless it has this section on cleanliness and hygiene. But again through this we will be reaching a small section of the literate population going to school and Colleges. How do we reach the other population is the challenge. Araku is so beautiful but we humans have made it so filthy. The driver was telling us people come to enjoy here and while leaving they leave bottles, plates, unused food and all plastics behind. I have not seen any Muncipal Corporation cleaning the garbage, though I find boards at places stating, please keep Araku clean and green. Unlike Vizag which is so clean this place is opposite. One must travel a lot in the outskirts to enjoy nature and the beauty of this place.
